Leadership Development Programme

Contract description: Worcester City Council requires a supplier to develop and deliver a bespoke Leadership Development Programme for the Council's wider management team, based on the Council's values.

The programme will enable the wider management team to effectively model the Council's values and behaviours to create a high performance culture.The programme will include areas such as goal setting, challenging performance, accountability, empowerment, team leadership, communication, creating a learning environment, team building, customer focus and commercial awareness.

It is anticipated that the programme will be delivered to 3 groups of 20 managers. Each group may attend 5 separate full day sessions over a 2 month period.

The supplier will facilitate these sessions interactively and responsively, to draw out and explore live issues whilst engaging and inspiring the management team.

A successful programme will result in the management team acquiring an understanding and acceptance of their management roles, enabling them to successfully deliver the Council's strategic objectives over the coming months and years.

Contract length: Three months.

Estimated value of contract: £25,000 - £50,000.
