Training providers are being sought to work with the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) to improve the linguistic skills of practitioners in all sectors.
WAG wishes to establish a coherent, comprehensive national suite of Welsh-language sabbatical courses to be offered in 3 locations in Wales (based on the boundaries of ADEW consortia areas) as follows:
The contract will address the Welsh-medium Education Strategy strategic objectives such as improving the linguistic skills of practitioners in order to improve standards in teaching and learning, and improving levels of achievement in Welsh as a first and second language.
The Welsh Assembly Government requires intensive Welsh-language courses on different linguistic levels and aimed at specific target audiences within the education sector. Successful contractors will be required to work with the Welsh for Adults Centres.
Expressions of interest are invited from interested providers.
